Operating System
During this time some of us already know what the operating system. In short, the operating system OS or a container that run the system on the computer, so that it can be used for various purposes contains.
In operating systems in general there are four types, categorized by type of computers they control and the types of applications they support. As for the 4 categories:
1. Real-time operating system (RTOS) – Real-time operating system used to machine to control scientific instruments and industrial systems.
2. Single-user, single task – As the name implies, this operating system developed for the computer so that a user can effectively manage one thing at a time.
3. Single-user, multi-tasking – This is the type of operating system most people use on desktop and laptop computers today.4. Multi-user – A multi-user operating system allows several users to be advantages of computer resources simultaneously.
It is important to distinguish between multi-user operating systems and single-user systems, that network operations support to distinguish.
